Koloni och Kluster bjuder in till en mysig gratiskonsert i Studio C (H160) på Musikhögskolan i Piteå 14 nov kl 17-20 med fantastiska POWERDOVE (Annie Lewandowski) och MAG (Magdalena Ågren) som därmed avrundar sin turné i övre Norrland! Christian Pallin (Koloni) spelar skivor och visar filmer och vi avslutar det hela med ett vildsint jam med KLUSTERLAB och alla som vill delta. Fri entré så klart!

POWERDOVE SOLO
Annie Lewandowski is a composer, improviser, and multi-instrumentalist whose work has situated her between the worlds of improvisation and independent rock music. As an improviser on the piano and accordion, she has recorded with Fred Frith, the London Improvisers Orchestra, Caroline Kraabel, Tim Feeney, CAGE, and Doublends, Vert, and performed with improvisers including Theresa Wong, Miya Masaoka, Chris Cutler, Chris Corsano, Evan Parker, Ellen Fullman, and Charles Hayward.
Annie Lewandowski comes from Minnesota, a place full of things that are long and longer: church services, dinner tables, and worry lines, to name a few. Somebody said there are ten thousand lakes there; if that’s true, each of them shows up in some little way in Annie’s songs. She writes under the name powerdove, which began as a band of one in California in 2007.

MAG
MAG aka Magdalena Ågren works with live samplings of trombone, megaphone, voice, guitar, sound and the noise around her. The music is built up from scratch. From the smallest simple element it grows to a gigantic dystopian lo-fi orchestra that sometimes is restrained and suggestive, sometimes chaotic and wild.
MAG has toured in Scandinavia, Poland. Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Canada and USA, and has shared the bill with acts like Lightning Bolt, Legendary Pink Dots, Trumans Water, Ora Cogan, Wildbirds and Peacedrums, The Skull Defekts etc. And played at festivals/venues such as Mission Creek Music and Art Festival (San Fransisco), Arts Birthday (Stockholm), FakeJazz (Vancouver), Festival of Endless Gratitude (Copenhagen) and Dockwille festival (Hamburg).

KLUSTERLAB
Dynamiska drones, suggestiva ljudlandskap och vildsinta elektroakustiska improvisationer! KlusterLab är en löst sammansatt improvisationsgrupp som vuxit fram ur föreningen Klusters återkommande jam, och som på ett inbjudande sätt vill föra fram improvisationsmusiken i och utanför Norrbotten! Kom och lyssna – och spela med själv!

KOLONI
Koloni is a constantly nomadic music promoter, who preferably combines artistic styles, forms and expressions. Backed by a large personal network,
Koloni books both domestic and international bands, renowned as well as unknown. Accessible experimental music shares the club stage with film screenings and performance.
Koloni started 2004 and is based in Gothenburg Sweden and is directed artistically by Christian Pallin.
Koloni also produces events in and outside Sweden.
